Yesterday, I installed some hop-ups on my Square TA05. I switched out the bushings in the steering arms for a nice set of ball bearings and also added some 5mm shims to eliminate play on the posts. While I had the upper deck removed I sealed it with CA glue.

I haven't spent too much time behind the wheel of this conversion yet, but it already (with very little tuning) feels as good as, if not better than, my main TA05 drifter. Here are some of my first impressions:
- The chassis has plenty of steering without feeling like it's oversteering (I'm not really sure if that makes sense). It doesn't need a lot of steering input to initiate drifts, and once you set your angle it's happy to stay pointing where you want it.

I've had the body trimmed for some time now, and I was finally able to mount it yesterday having completed the kit. I originally wanted to paint it black, but now I'm considering red...

I installed one more hop-up for the IFS today. It's a set of front and rear chassis torque rods from Tech Racing. Because this chassis is set up for drifting, I only used the rear torque rods. There is still a tiny bit of flex that comes from the center of the chassis, but the rear is now significantly stiffer than before.

I finished the chassis last night. To complete it I installed a Tamiya Sport Tuned motor, Tamiya TEU-101BK ESC, Futaba R153F receiver, Futaba S3004 servo, and Speedway PAL D9 wheels (7mm offset) with ABS. All there's left to do is finish up the body...

Seeing how you have that Square conversion driving good, I think it needs a proper body. How about letting me revamp the Soarer.
