m8 as you said practice your but off make sure you know what sort of surface you are drifting on and prepare for that get your car setup and runing sweet and don't forgot to take some spare s belts etc hate to ruin a big meet because you broke a belt or an arm and didn't have a spare
what up man. it's made a extreme difference putting in a brushless. with added hop ups to help make your chassis lighter helps too and a good suspension set up, i feel it can run with a lot of the higher end cars. i've gone up against some high end cars and i've beat them at drift comps, i think if you can understand the way the tt-01 chassis is and use certain aspects of it to your advantage it's a very very good kit especially on inside turns and hair pins.
m8 thx for the comments as to your supra project I think Id have to go with option 1 just because it would be heaps easier you could also get creative with the masking of your windows as well to also help get the desired shape a bit closer
it would help give the illusion of the car that your trying to make i think that would be the easiest way other wise it even think a modified trans am front end on the yoko modified could work because iy has the flat slant type nose but it would be very tricky to get just right
any way hope I have helped a bit good luck with the project and dont for get some piccys
appreciate the invite.. i doubt ill be in Cali for a good minute.. BTW i love my Sprint 2 as well.. wait until you get the front one way and rear ball diff in there.. its amazing.. good luck with it.. got any pics of the chassis?..
